Help to Sangali, Kolahapur Flood Victims:

Action For Agricultural Renewal In
Maharashtra and its allied organisations including SSM, Prakash Shikshan
Sanstha(Tasgaon), Samrat Charitable Trust(Akhiwat), Asatitawa Samajik Sanstha
(Sangola) and Asthavinayak Trust (Shirol) took an initiation to give some
relief to flood ravaged people from Kolahapur and Sangali District. Nearly 200
families of Bhilawadi, Akhiwat, Palus and Walawa were given groceries including
sugar, salt, rice, oil, toothpaste, clothes, blankets, bedsheets etc. AFARM
Chairman Shri Pramodji Deshmukh and others have been in flood affected areas
meeting victims for three days. He said, “Whatever we are doing, we are doing
it collectively. I have seen that farms, cattle and houses were destroyed
completely by this devastating rain. AFARM will strive to provide assured help
as well as sustainable income source. An action plan will be drawn for the
upliftment of flood victims.”
